**Standard Rates:**
- $150/tuning
- $75/pitch adjustment over 6%
- $135/hr for repairs

**Institutional Pre-Paid Rates and Terms:**

- $125/tuning for 3+ scheduled on the same day, pre-paid 10 days prior; otherwise, standard rates apply.
- Concert/recital tunings at standard rates unless extra repairs/tunings are performed that day on campus.
- Up to $62.50/pitch raise over 6%.
- $90/hr for repairs, inspections, and diagnosis.
- 5% off bulk product orders of 3+ units, up to $500 for orders over $3,000.

Any additional necessary work not pre-paid is added to the next pre-paid service bill or adjusted per your preferred billing schedule, provided in writing before the first service request.

Typically, institutional pianos used heavily during the school year are tuned in August/Sept, Nov/Dec, and March/April. I recommend budgeting at least $200/piano/service for unforeseen issues. I strive to perform only necessary services for the department's goals and student development while balancing budgets.

The first payment is due 10 days before the first service date, billed as basic tunings or according to your department's anticipated needs for initial repairs. Additional required work can be added to the next pre-paid bill or final bill after the spring service if there is any outstanding balance.

The final balance is due within 30 days of service; a $25 fee applies after that, with a 15% fee for every additional 30 days until payment is received. Fees can be avoided by requesting an extension in writing with an anticipated payment date.

For example, your first bill may include 10 tunings at $125 each. A payment of $1,250 is due 10 days before your requested date to reserve the appointment and lock in the institutional rate. If all paid services aren't performed or additional work is needed, your next pre-paid bill will reflect the difference. Budgeting up to $200/piano for the initial service may be advisable, resulting in a $2,000 initial pre-payment due.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding this structure. I aim to keep costs down while meeting your organization and students’ needs.
